As you would be aware, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021 have been notified by the Government of India, on February 25, 2021.

Part-III of these Rules, relating to Code of Ethics and Procedure and Safeguards in relation to Digital Media is being administered by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

In this regard, Press Information Bureau has organized a webinar to explain the rationale and implementation of the Digital Media Ethics Code.

Shri Vikram Sahay, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will be the keynote speaker.

This will be followed by Q & A.

This webinar will be useful for all digital news providers and other digital content creators.
